The CMS ACCESS Model
The ACCESS Model is a Medicare program from the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) built to give people earlier, easier access to high-quality musculoskeletal (bone, joint, and spine) care. MSK Access participates in the model, which is how eligible Original Medicare members join the program at no cost. A care coordinator confirms coverage before anyone starts. Medicare Advantage coverage is expected in 2028.
Bone health: prevent the next fracture
A broken bone after 50 is usually a sign your bones need attention, and most people are never evaluated afterward. The MSK Access bone health track includes a guided review of fracture risk and bone density history, evidence-based strength and balance training, practical fall prevention coaching, and specialist-reviewed treatment when medication or testing makes sense.

Eligibility
Enrollment takes about five minutes on your phone through the MSK Access care portal, where your care team confirms your Medicare coverage.
